Understanding Self and Others (USO) Group


Come join a safe and energizing group of your peers to explore patterns of how you relate to yourself and others with the aim of developing greater understanding and acceptance of self, changing current behaviors and developing better ways of coping. Presenting issues vary widely and may include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Adjustment to EKU
  • Family Conflict
  • Social Anxiety
  • Loneliness
  • Relationship Issues
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Stress
  • Difficulty Asserting Oneself

Students who want to resolve specific concerns as well as those seeking personal growth are welcome. This can be a good time for individuals to get different perspectives on various issues, and recognize that they are not alone.

When and where does the group meet?

Tuesdays 9:30-11 am & Fridays 1-2:30 pm, Whitlock Building Room 571 (choose one that best fits your schedule)
